Preamble

The most consequential technology in human history is being built right now, quickly, by a small number of people. Everyone else has been assigned a seat in the audience.

We decline the seat.

We are, admittedly, an unusual vehicle for idealism: a technology company. We build apps and we trade the markets. We chose this shape deliberately, because missions that run on goodwill alone tend to die polite deaths. Ours pays its own way — and every dollar of profit funds research into an artificial general intelligence that is controlled, reliable, and answerable to the people who will live with it.

Where that research goes is not ours to decide alone. That is what this place is for.

This page is our founding document. Beneath it is a pen.

What we believe

1. The future is a commons, not a roadmap. What the world becomes after AGI is too large a question to be settled in boardrooms, and too important to be settled by default. It belongs to everyone it will happen to.

2. Imagination is labor. A scenario, a design, a well-argued dissent — these are work. And work deserves three things: to be witnessed, to be credited, and — when it moves the world — to be paid.

3. Authorship is becoming the scarcest resource in thought. Machines can now produce infinite plausible text. What they cannot produce is a person standing behind an idea — publicly, at a moment in time, under their own name. Machines generate. Humans author. Everything we build here is built for that difference.

4. Good ideas are evenly distributed. Money and microphones are not. Our job is to fix the routing: to move real research funding toward the best thinking about the future, wherever it comes from, chosen in the open — one person, one vote.

5. Optimism is a discipline, not a mood. Between doom and hype runs a narrower, harder path: taking the future seriously enough to design it. We are not cheering for AGI, and we are not praying against it. We are preparing for it, in public, with receipts.

6. Trust is made of receipts. We publish the ledger: what we earned, what you chose, what it funded, and what came back. Claims are cheap. Records are not.

What we commit to

The profits fund the research. Everything our products and our trading earn goes to research into a controlled, reliable AGI future. This is not a pledge or a percentage; it is the business model.

Your votes move real money. Every season ends with funding allocated to ideas chosen in the open — and every result reported back to the people who chose it.

Everything you author here is signed and witnessed. Your contributions accrue to a record that belongs to you — portable, non-transferable, impossible to fake, and valid whether or not we exist.

Standing is earned, never bought. There is nothing here to purchase and nothing to trade: no token, no rank for sale, no score to farm. Reputation is a byproduct of witnessed work — nothing else.

The doors stay open. Anyone may think here. Credentials mark what you have done; they never decide who may speak.

Bring the idea you have been carrying. The school day in 2045. The institution that does not exist yet. The failure mode nobody is writing down.
